Hi Movers & Shakers!

Ah, spring is HERE. Can you smell it in the air, and feel it on your skin? Kristine and I thought it would be the perfect time to put out another Movers & Shakers business growth challenge. This challenge contains so many ideas and opportunities to grow your network, try new things, and BLOOM! When we did this last August, we received great feedback and so many people loved being prompted to try new things in this way.

💚 MARCH CHALLENGE DETAILS: See how many points you can accumulate over the course of March! Challenge ENDS Monday, March 31st. This is a self-reported system, so please keep honest track of your point accumulation.

Each task varies in terms of how many points it will give you depending upon how much effort will be involved.

At the end of the month, we will have everyone drop their tallied points into a form so we can determine who completed the most tasks.

On top of business growth, the winner will receive:

  • 15 minute mini photo shoot with Kristine Casart (Value $300)

  • One Business + Brand Brainstorm Session with Sami (Value $200)

  • A signed copy of Kristine’s book, The Unconventional Addict (Value $30)

  • A gift basket with a few lil goodies and wares from local shops :)

YOU’VE GOT THIS! HERE GOES!

  • Ask someone new (someone you have NOT met before in person!) to coffee (+2)

  • Reach out to a new lead (+3)

  • Meet a friend for a yoga class you haven’t been to (+3)

  • Journal for 7 days in a row (+4)

  • Mediate for at least 10 minutes for 7 days in a row (+4)

  • Go for a 10 minute walk without any distractions (no phone, no podcast, no music) (+2)

  • Learn something new you’ve been wanting to learn more about (+3)

  • Take a dance class (+3)

  • Go to Selby Garden and just walk around or a park. Just spend time with yourself outside (+3)

  • Take a break for no reason other than you deserve it (+3)

  • Drive a different way home than you usually do (+2)

  • Write a list of 20 things you loved to do as a child. Go do one of the activities (+3)

  • Try a new fitness class (+2)

  • Go to a new networking event (+3)

  • Say no to something old (a pattern, a person, a situation, a cycle). (+5)

  • Say yes to something new (an opportunity, a dare, a challenge). (+5)

  • Try out a new cafe in the Sarasota area and leave your business card at the front or on a business card wall (always ask if you can do this first!) (+3)

  • Complete a task you've been avoiding for more than 3 months (+3)

  • Ask someone you admire to coffee (+2)

  • Share Movers & Shakers FB Group/Invite someone new (+2)

  • Ask someone who has been in business for a lot longer than you to coffee (+2)

  • Ask someone from a different part of the country to coffee (or an online coffee chat, as the case may be) (+2)

  • Turn on your favorite song and dance around in your living room (+3)

  • Try something new you’ve been wanting to do (+4)

  • Do an Instagram Live or Reel and share about your why (+4)

  • Update your social media bios and make sure all the links are active and relevant (+3)

  • Drink more water every day (+3)

  • Take a nap (+2)

  • Do a yoga nidra session (+3)

  • Complete this Movers & Shakers feedback form (+3)

  • Organize your calendar and create time for social media posting, backend work, website updating, connecting, etc. (+3)

  • Reach out to a lead or potential client that you haven’t heard back from (+3)

  • Get back on track with updating your business expenses (+3)

  • Do the math to figure out a range for what income you need to bring in for your business (aka project your revenue, calculate your hourly rates, and play around with how many clients you need to work with or products you need to sell in order to generate the income you desire - you can set low, mid and high goals!)   • Create a vision board, print it and put it on your desk/in your room/on your mirror (+3)

  • Print out your WHY - your mission - and put it on your desk/in your room/on your mirror (+3)

  • Put your name & info in the below Podcast Matchmaking Form (+1)

  • Meet with someone new over zoom for a virtual coffee chat (+2)

  • Share about a new offering in an Instagram post (+2)

  • Join another business related facebook group (+1)

  • Introduce yourself in that group (+1)

  • Cowork with a fellow Mover & Shaker (+2)

  • Share about your why on Facebook or Social Media (+2)

  • Pay off taxes you owe from a different quarter (+4)

  • Feed yourself properly 3 days in a row (+4)

  • Spend 1 hour getting familiar with your numbers — “Know your numbers: If you don’t pay attention to your metrics or numbers and don’t pay attention to what’s happening in your business, you’ll never be able to forecast where your business is going.” This can look like logging into wherever you track your #s, like Honeybook, Quickbooks, invoicing system, venmo, etc — and reflect on these questions:

    • If you can find your profit & loss statement (”P&L statement — also known as an income statement, is a financial statement that summarizes a company's revenue, costs, expenses, and profits or losses over a specific period. It's a useful tool for business management that provides a snapshot of a company's financial health and viability”) what information does it tell you about your year so far? (+5)

    • If you need to set up a business bank account, make the appointment with your bank! You can collect your points when you complete your appointment. You might need a business checking, savings, and credit card/debit card. (+6)

    • Looking at your monthly revenue so far, reflect on what you notice about your income! (+4)

  • Show your face on Instagram stories for at least one story (+2)

  • Have that hard conversation. Yes, you know the one I am talking about. (+5)

  • Reach out to someone you know can help you make the next move in your business (+3)

  • Provide a slammin’ solid service and receive a Google Review or testimonial (each one you receive is worth +4)

  • Listen to one of our podcast guest episodes! Kristine and I have been featured on a few lately. Lots of advice for new entrepreneurs, as well as more about our stories. (+1 per episode)
